ST. PAUL JOHNSON GOVERNORS  B SQUIRTS

      The B squirt season was capped off with a solid 8-3 win over Red Wing Sunday Morning! The Improvement this team showed in the Month of February was 2nd to None. The Team closed gaps on many teams. Example: The team lost to North St. Paul 13-1 and 8-2 in November, But Come February the Govs barely lost 3-2 on a fluke goal. In December the Woodbury team smoked the Govs 7-doughnut, but once again in February, the Govs returned the favor beating Woodbury 5-3 on their ice!  Highlight wins this year include : 6-3 over Highland blue, 3-2 over Como (no A team), 5-3 over Woodbury, and a 3-2 win over Forest Lake. The season was also Highlighted by a great Effort in the River Falls Tourney, where the team caught fire and won 3 straight games for the Title! The kids were taught about sportsmanship, Teamwork, attitude and character. Things that will matter most in life after Hockey.  GREAT SEASON TEAM!
